01. About Me
Hi, I’m Faisal. I’m an IT Infrastructure and Datacenter Engineer, and I live in Berlin. I have a background in software development and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
My work focuses on infrastructure and data center operations across Linux systems, virtualization, storage, networking, monitoring, backups, certificates, and production platforms.
I spend most of my time deploying and maintaining platforms, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, improving operational reliability, and supporting services across development, testing, and production environments. That work gives me hands-on experience across the full stack of infrastructure, from physical servers and virtualization clusters to storage, networking, and the services running on top of them.
I also work with container platforms, orchestration, automation, and high-availability infrastructure to improve resilience, consistency, and operational efficiency.
My software background remains part of how I work. I build internal tools and web applications that solve operational problems and support teams more effectively, primarily with Laravel, Livewire, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
